Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Pickory (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and your rights. We keep it short and collect as little as possible.
Who we are
Pickory is an AI visibility service for online stores, operated from Poland (European Union). Contact: hello@getpickory.com. The full legal name and address of the operator are available on request at the same address.
What we collect
- When you request a free check: your store address and email address.
- Paying clients: name, email, billing details (handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see full card numbers), and any files you choose to share, such as an orders or analytics export.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may log IP addresses and browser information for security and to deliver the website.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Fonts are served from our own server.
Public store data
The free check and our reports use publicly available information about your store (public product catalog and pages) and answers from AI assistants. This is business information, not personal data.
Why we use your data
- To send the report you asked for and one follow-up email (our legitimate interest in answering your request, or your consent).
- To provide our paid services under a contract with you.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping invoices.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run Pickory: website hosting and forms (Netlify), email, payments (Stripe), and AI providers (such as OpenAI, Google and Anthropic) that process public store information to produce reports. We do not sell or rent personal data.
International transfers
Some providers are based in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Free check requests: up to 12 months, unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner. Client data: for the length of the service and afterwards as required by law (for example, accounting records).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to stop emails at any time. Email hello@getpickory.com. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Poland: UODO). If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
